This year is the first time I entered the Handmade Gift Exchange by Craftaholics Anonymous. What a great idea! I love the idea of getting a totally random gift from a totally random stranger! Mostly, I love getting packages. I try not to visit Amazon.com too often...

It took me a while to think of what to make, but thanks to the glut of wreath ideas, I decided to go with the current trend.

I think it turned out pretty cute.

I used some of the copper pipe insulation that you can find at Home Depot for a couple bucks. Cut it in half and duct tape into a circle. Then you cover it in yarn. And watch a couple episodes of Bones. Cause it takes FOREVER.

I ironed some heat and bond onto half a piece of fabric, folded it over and ironed my little sandwich, since I wanted fabric on both sides. Then I cut out some flowers with my awesome Silhouette Cameo. I love that thing!

I hot glued in some pieces of felt to give it a whimsical feel. And hot glued the cuties on.

And sent it off the JC. She said she liked the flowers :)

I really can't wait til November to join the next party!

Thanks for looking,
Amy
